One Italian Summer, book two in the Abruzzo series.
Following the success of book one, Under Italian Stars, the sequel is being written to meet demand. The second book tells Gabby's story as she takes a break from work to spend a summer living in the small town of Bomba.
She develops a friendship with Riccardo a lawyer from Pescara while staying in close contact with Rachel and Luca from the hotel in book one.
Will everything work out for Gabby and Riccardo or will their insecurities and history spoil everything?
It is hoped that book two in the series will be available in late 2024

To celebrate the publication of 52 Weeks in January 2024 there will be via this website a free novella that introduces the characters and places from the novel.
Set in 1982, 4 Months gives the readers of 52 Weeks an insight into Beryl, Vera, Mavis and Doreen’s lives when they were younger and the foundations of their friendship.
The book covers some of the historical events from the four featured months that instigated a fashion pandemic of big hair and shoulder pads. Soft Cell and the rise of electronic music. Dallas and the final episode of Multi-Coloured Swap Shop.
This novella is a brief glimpse of a time when life seemed to be simpler before the onslaught of social media. It’s a little bit of nostalgia featuring our ‘potbank girls’ lives in a city where everyone seemed to have a smile and time for a chat.
The novella (published by Flatfield Books) will be available on Sunday 10 December 2023.

Under Italian Stars
(New for 2024)
Work on the novel, Under Italian Stars is completed and it's at the formatting stage ready for publishing in 2024. It will be subjected to a final read through by beta readers and edit then comes the hard work.
Plans are afoot to turn the book into a series that centres around the area and characters.
The book is set in the region of Abruzzo, an unspoilt area of national parks, blue flag beaches and photogenic villages.
